HCHC's Food Drives Return to Albany, Hudson, and Catskill on Friday, July 10
July 1, 2026, Albany, Hudson, Catskill, NY — The Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition (HCHC) will host its next mutual aid food distribution on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with community distribution sites in Albany, Hudson, and Catskill. Fresh food and essential household items will be available free of charge while supplies last.
Each month, HCHC works to ensure that neighbors have access to healthy food and basic necessities during a time when many households continue to experience rising costs and financial hardship. The distributions are rooted in mutual aid, bringing communities together to care for one another while connecting residents with additional local resources.
"Mutual aid is about showing up for one another with consistency and compassion," said Shirle Cross, Co-Founder and Board Chair of HCHC. "Every distribution is an opportunity to make sure our neighbors have access to food while building stronger, more connected communities."
