Save the Date: HCHC’s Community Food Drives Planned for June 12
May 21, 2026, Albany, Hudson, Catskill, NY — The Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition (HCHC) will host its next mutual aid distribution on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with sites in Albany, Hudson, and Catskill.The events will provide fresh food and household items to local residents at no cost.
As families across the region continue facing economic uncertainty, HCHC and its community partners remain committed to making essential resources more accessible. Volunteers will work together at each site to create a welcoming space where neighbors can connect with support close to home.
“Access to food and essential household items should never be out of reach,” said Shirle Cross, Co-Founder and Board Chair of HCHC. “These food drives are about meeting immediate needs while strengthening the sense of care and solidarity within our communities.”

Residents will also be able to learn more about local tenant support services, current housing advocacy efforts, and ways to stay engaged in community initiatives.
Community members are encouraged to attend, volunteer, or donate in support of ongoing efforts to care for and uplift neighbors across the region.
