HCHC Announces 6th Anniversary Gala and Community Leadership Workshops
September 9, 2026, Hudson, NY — The Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition (HCHC) will celebrate its sixth anniversary on Thursday, November 19, 2026. This year’s theme, “We Cleared the Way: Clean Slate. Collective Freedom.,” will bring together the community for a day of reflection on the work that brought us here while looking ahead to what comes next.
As New York prepares for full implementation of the Clean Slate Act in 2027, the gala will honor the directly impacted people, organizers, advocates, and partners who helped make this victory possible. We’ll also highlight HCHC’s broader work in reentry, housing justice, racial justice, civic power, and coalition-building.
The day will begin with workshops for community leaders, creating space for learning, connection, and strategy-building. The evening gala fundraiser will feature a keynote address, community celebration, and an opportunity to recognize the people and movements helping to advance housing justice, education equity, and criminal justice reform.
