HCHC Announces April 3 Regional Food Distributions to Support Families Ahead of Easter

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 23, 2026, Albany, Hudson, and Catskill, NY — The Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition is hosting its next multi-city food distribution on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Albany, Hudson, and Catskill. Scheduled in advance of Easter, this effort aims to help local families access essential groceries and hygiene supplies during a time when many families are preparing to gather and celebrate.

As food costs and economic pressures continue to impact communities across the region, HCHC and its partners are organizing this coordinated distribution to ensure that residents can pick up fresh food, pantry staples, and basic household items at no cost.

This initiative brings together local organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to expand access to resources while reinforcing a shared commitment to meeting immediate needs. The distributions are designed to be welcoming and accessible.

“Showing up for each other consistently is how we build stronger communities,” said Shirle Cross, Co-Founder and Board Member of HCHC. “As we head into a season centered on renewal and togetherness, it is important that families have what they need to feel supported and prepared.”
